For treating what specific ailment? This therapy is being used in many different cases.

OP, please do your research, a lot of the stem cell therapy is not covered by Medicare or private insurance, which says a lot. I did some research, talked to some doctors, and decided to stay away from this until this is approved. Just my humble opinion.

I agree, but I am not so humble. I think it is just bogus.

I don't know whether this treatment works or not, but I wouldn't make a decision as to its value based on whether or not insurance pays for it. We have good insurance but they wouldn't pay for my multi-focal lenses (post cataract surgery). (Well, they paid an amount equal to what the cheap single-focus lenses cost.) I paid the rest out of pocket and it was worth every penny.

Just something to think about.

I was told stem therapy for my knee had a 50% chance of helping.
