Default Third Covid Booster

I've had both Moderna shots and both boosters. Now the is a third Booster available. This is the first time I'm not really sure about a Covid Vaccine. I want to ask what others here are thinking about it?

We plan to get it sometime in the next 90 days along with the flu shot if possible. I fully expect the flu and Covid boosters to become a standard yearly practice.

Wife and I had our Moderna boosters two weeks ago.
All our previous vaccs. had been Pfizer, but it seems UK is using Moderna for boosters as it has some Omicron protection included.

I got the Pfizer booster 2 days ago (and the flu shot a few weeks ago.) I was going to wait until a little deeper into the fall, but coming to The Villages for my Lifestyle visit (and Orlando) next month, and with traveling just felt safer getting it now. No side effects. I haven't even had a sore arm.

Pfizer and Moderna just love making this stuff and having the government buy it and sell it to you. Big profits and exempt from lawsuits. No need to disclose the side effects in advertising that is required in every other drug.

Only place I could find in The Villages was Walgreen's on 42. Appointment setup for next Monday. At this point Publix is not offering the updated booster for the Omnicon variant.

When I had my six month visit with my MD ten days ago and I asked if I should get it he said it's up to you.

At this point, holding off until a few weeks before a higher risk gathering/event such as wedding or cruise.

So recently got a Pfizer booster because I'm going out of country in a few weeks. Arm was sore and energy down a few days after, similar to a flu vaccine.

For me the potential benefits outweigh the risks. YMMV

Default Moderna 3rd booster

Me and the wife got our 3rd booster Sunday 9/18. Aside from a little upper arm soreness the 2nd night we had Zero side effects. These shots must be working since we know so many people that have got Covid19 but we have not. We are a little more cautious than most though and we are still wearing masks in crowded places. We are not too worried about our "Freedoms being infringed upon" and feel it's worth being safer than sorry! Call us just "Old Fashioned"!

Just kidding!

Appointments have already been made. I had second thoughts but once I got to New Jersey on a recent visit I found out why a few friends were not answering their phones. It was not good news. So sorry for their families.

Enough with this plague already.
