I think more testing being done. The more testing that is done will reveal the asymptomatic positive cases. That is my best guess.

Massive "demonstrations" doesn't help. It ain't over folks. Watch where you go and be careful still. Remember that we are all in a "high risk group". Most anyway.

Not in VA. Well most of us cannot have more than 50 to gather. Unless you are a protester. Large gatherings everyday. Now they are allowing the 5,000 man march in Richmond VA tomorrow. Just depends on what you are doing.

More testing is being done. However the percent testing positive has slowly but consistently grown over the last six weeks, from 2% testing positive 5/1 to just over 4% a day testing positive now.

Two of our Cincinnati friends died two weeks ago of Covid-19. Two of our friends from Country Club Hills were hospitalized with it after eating with a group of ten at Orange Blossom Restaurant on St. Patrick's day. Waitress had a "cold".
If you are over 65 and if you want to live longer, stay away from crowds and wear a mask. It isn't a hoax. Over 114,000 people in the U.S. are dead that were alive before St. Patrick's day this year. I am so hoping for a vaccine and then I find out about those who think that is some sort of a conspiracy. I am beginning to dislike some old people.

More people are in hospitals not just because of increased testing.

Pretty disgusting. You can’t have a funeral for a husband or a dear friend, but you can protest in groups in the hundreds. What the heck is going on?

IMHO attempting to piece together all the 'half bits' of information, the conflicting information, the misinformation, the information that has a bias to it, the information that is purely speculation, the 'hidden' information, the 'hindsight' information and what may be real information regarding covid-19 to draw a conclusion will drive you nuts
There are no comprehensive true answers, yet...and we won't have them for some time yet. The folks that will ultimately be able to provide us with those answers are still ramping up and the reality is they started from a dead start, standing in a hole long after the starting pistol went off Again, IMHO, we all need to continue to take personal responsibility for ourselves and do what we feel is the right thing to do to stay safe and help others stay safe without being judgmental of others...to help put an end to this covid-19 virus. This is our present 'new normal'...it's what we have to live with right now. Eventually we'll arrive at whatever the post covid-19 new normal will be, but not before going through more deaths, more crisis, more chaos, a recession/depression, an election and who knows what else. I'm happy that my wife and I like to read and that we have a few hobbies to occupy our days.... |

Not testing here unless you wind up in hospital.

The Governor said that the increase is due to more testing.
