Default Tooth Implant recommendations

I am looking for any suggestions of which specialist to get a tooth implant from and who to avoid! I would also like to know what price that you received to do the entire implant from start to finish. Please mention where the person is located also! Any tips that you might be able to give me would be wonderful! I have an eye tooth that has a fractured root so they had to remove the crown and the tooth. So now I am ready to talk to Folks to figure out about an implant. I also understand that it has to have a cap put on. I have the old crown that is in excellent shape would that be reusable? Thank you for your help!

I have 4 implants to date....

1. Until recently you had to go to an Oral Surgeon to have the tooth extracted.
2. Then an implant specialist to place the implant.
3. Then to your regular dentist to do the crown.

Since moving to The Villages I have gone to Bushnell Family Dentistry to Dr. Ahmed. He does the whole process start to finish. They take insurance and the staff is very nice.

Me too, but with Dr. Novak, the owner. They are great, ethical, and do the job start to finish. It was worth the drive down there.

Dr. Ahmed did mine as well. Expensive but I was pleased. They do not take Delta Dental anymore. Don't know what insurance they do take.

Dr. Caylor did two of mine and I had no pain and no problem. Crown put on by Dr. Lesh.

Bushnell Family Dentistry is VERY expensive.
They wanted $56,000 to pull some teeth and do implants for my husband!
Yes -- you read correctly.

Dr. Caylor is local and well recommended.

Chiming in to say that Dr. Caylor is VERY good! I had 3 implants done by him some years ago! Would highly recommend him! Not sure I'd have the dentist do ALL of the work as I've had extensive work done in my mouth all done by oral surgeons.

I had a tooth cat scan done before each implant. Dr. Caylor has this equipment in his office. This is done to be sure that they don't drill the implant into your sinus cavity.

Your dentist will give you the best recommendations, only he knows quality workmanship.
