Misinformation about United coverage of the Villages Regional Hospital appeared in the April Bulletin of the Villages POA, Property Owners Association, distributed online at poa4us.org and in paper throughout the villages. An article on University of Florida Health, UF Health, takeover of the hospital with various improvements, has a confusing ending remark about United Health not covering the Villages Hospital, which is incorrect. It might be the case for primary care physicians at UF, not clear, where different standards apply at different primary physicians, but does not affect the hospital. This article has caused confusion among numerous UHC clients contacting their agents, and should be clarified by UHC management.
