Dr. Schwenk of Ocala eye is excellent. He is a opth---(cant spell it!) He is at Ocala Eye at Laurel Manor on Fridays only, though. well known around town, good reputation.

We go to Dr. Jodi Armstrong and Dr. Samy of Ocala Eye. Dr Sami is a retinal specialist and is only in Ocala. Dr. Armstrong is at Laurel Manor. Very good care.

Ocala Eye or Mid-Florida Eye---both have great credentials from posts on here. I've been a patient at Ocala Eye...with Dr. Elmallah. Don't go to Lange---as I've read posts on here that are negative.

I've been to both Ocala eye and Mid-Florida. Both were OK but I give the edge to Dr. Panzo at Mid-Florida. I was impressed with his thoroughness in doing measurements for cataract surgery. If you do a search you will find that he has many recommendations.

Dr Scott Holman of Lake Eye is wonderful. Well thought of and very compassionate.

Agree on both counts (that is, avoid Lange...), and though Dr. ElMallah is terrific, there are many other good ophthalmologists at Ocala Eye, a very professional practice with virtually every service available. Which MD might depend on your specific problem, as they have different ophthalmological specialties. If your issue is retinal, then a thumbs up for Dr. Samy, trained in Boston by the best, though located only in Ocala.
