I will say that we have also been super pleased with Medicare Advantage through The Villages/ United Health Care. Great choice of providers. No problem with coverage by the specialists of our choice. The cost is such a surprise! In a good way. Medicare is so much better than I ever believed possible.

Now if only we could get "Medicare for all". Like the rest of the developed nations.....but that's another topic entirely!

It's will the insurance pay for procedures prescribed or will they deem them "Not Medically Necessary". As long as all you do is go for check ups it's great. You being an RN you must be familiar with the term medically necessary.
The cost is great, but as one person said if you need an knee replacement or something the insurance may not agree with you and your doctor. They may feel it's just not necessary.
