Lots of people lie on these surveys. Don't really know why?

This apparently was a ‘study’ by analysts, not a survey. For whatever that’s worth.

Must be a survey geared toward the lifestyle of a millennial, not a retired baby boomer.

Interesting analysis of data and survey.
WE do fault in these areas:
Discount Stores per Capita*: Full Weight (~3.33)
Elderly-Friendly Labor Market: Full Weight (~3.33)
Note: This composite metric measures the following:
Share of Workers Aged 65 & Older;
Ratio of Part-Time to Full-Time Workers Aged 65 & Older.
Share of Commuters Who Use Public Transit: Full Weight (~3.33)

Most of our seniors Volunteer.
WE do need a Costco!
WE do not have public transportation.

I think that volunteering rather than working gives one more freedom. I have given serious thought to working, but I would not be happy having someone telling me what to do at my age, especially with my corporate background. But, if I volunteer people are really pleased to have my expertise and treat me accordingly.

Personally, I do not need Costco, I manage fine with Sam's.

We do have public transportation in the form of the Sumter County Bus which is really accommodating. They will even pick up from your home. BUT, we do not have big city transportation.
