Default Vision Insurance

What do you do for vision insurance once you are retired and on Medicare? Thank you for any assistance.

We had a separate policy for vision. I discovered that medicare was primary for our once a year exam and never used the policy. so after one year we cancelled the policies.

You will need to assess your needs for such a policy. but be aware of the limitation placed in these policies

In addition I had cataracts that needed to be removed. Again medicare came into play. I opted for the standard procedure because that is all I needed and my eyes corrected back to 20/20
Never wore glasses so it was not a surprise

Good luck
