Default Freedom Health, Medicare Advantage Plan

Perusing over the splashy ad today in the Daily Sun I was overwhelmed with freebies, giveaways, rebates, gift cards, free lunches and their supposedly overwhelming desire to take care of all my medical needs.
So, a quick search turned up this.

Freedom Health to pay $31 million in Medicare settlement

Thanks for that! Freedom seems to be running A LOT of t.v. ads too. Almost sounds too good to be true actually with all they offer. A few years ago before VUHC came here there was another health-care ins. offered and we had it. It too offered similar to what Freedom is advertising but soon went out of business due to losing $$$$$. You could contact SAC here to see if they have any feedback on carriers. Maybe they're not the ones but do use due the footwork first before signing on the line.

If you want unbiased info, contact SHINE, they have local meetings. I am not interested in ADVANTAGE plans, too many limitations, but that is me.

Here is the web-address: SHINE - Home

Hope this helps.

We have had Freedom Health for five years. A great plan. Zero premium, $50 in over the counter drugs per month and great customer service. They are now owned by Anthem Blue Cross, the second largest healthcare insurer in the country. My wife had a serious, sudden health issue and they covered everything with no question.
