Hi, you mentioned that you have a sister and brother-in-law that drive a golf cart without a drivers license. Do you know if they have insurance that covers them if they are in an accident? I am trying to investigate this issue. I don't drive a car but can drive a golf cart. There are sure a lot of haters on this site and I wonder if they were in my shoes what their opinion would be then.

you can go to the search area type in American alternative energy and read what other people have said. Or you can take the cost of the insulation and amortize it over the years you plan to live in the house. It will not raise your resale. I did that with solar power and I would have to live 57 years longer to break even Im 70 now so at 127yr the system would pay for it self. Good luck Len

Thank you so much for the call the other day Gomsiepop. I appreciate your referral for Myra the dog sitter but I was looking for someone to stay in my house. Thanks again.

I can't tell you who to use, but I can tell you not to use," Village Palms", We had our back area landscaped by them and their workmanship is very poor and customer service is non existing.

Has anyone had a doorbell hardwired for their birdcage? My husband and I had a birdcage installed and when someone comes to the door we cannot hear the doorbell ringing. We purchased a wireless doorbell but, since our home is block and stucco the wireless doorbells that are sold do not work. Can anyone recommend someone who installs hardwired doorbells? If so, who can I call and approximately what is the cost.

I am in the process of obtaining estimates for building a birdcage. One of the factors in pricing is adding additional concrete to level the flooring. I need approximately four inches of concrete for an area of 20 x 22. Does anyone know the square foot price I should consider to be fair?

I would like to share the name of an extremely reputable and knowledgeable contractor who installed plantation shutters in my first home in The Villages. Michael Hickmon, owner of Exceptions Blinds and Shutters takes pride in his products and installs each and every one personally. His prices are better than Lowe's and his products are far superior. He just finished measuring all of my windows for my second home in The Villages for shutters and blinds. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family. His phone number is 352-217-7556.

Does anyone know of a salon that knows how to do "liquid" gel manicures (no powder used). I have gone to one particular salon (Solar Nails) and on two separate occasions the manicures were awful. I have moved from New Jersey to The Villages and can't seem to find a good operator. Please help!!
