On September 1st I was RUSHED BY ambulance to the Village Regional Hospital with a broken hip. I laid in Emergency 19 hours before any Doctor saw me! No paid killer, No water. NOTHING! With a heart problem this broken Hip was dangerous! This hospital is a disgrace and should be torn down and replaced with a decent Hospital like Munroe. With all the Land available there is No excuse for this Hospital's constant abuse to this Village of Seniors!

On 5-26-2015 I was rushed to Villages Regional Hospital by paramedics with horrible chest pains and possible heart attack. My gurney stood lined up in the ER hallway...while I waited to see a doctor! I had horrible gripping chest pains! I screamed for someone to help. No one came! Finally an orderly came in to take another EKG. I screamed "I'm having a heart attack - Get someone!" The orderly left. No One came in!! I kept screaming. Finally a nurse gave me a morphine shot. The 2nd Blood Test was never done “It was cancelled”. This is Pathetic! They built and built onto this "piece of junk”, UNDERSTAFFED hospital! This is the fastest growing community in the country! And we do not have a decent hospital to care for us!
The Villages Developers are building like crazy. Why don't they use their influence to have another Hospital built or properly staff this horrible Hospital! What if we have a terrorist emergency or tornado disaster? We Villagers are at risk! Something must be done!
