RE: getting rid of stuff like carpet.
I suggest you call the company that picks up your trash. For us it is waste managment but I do not think they do the entire villages.
As waste management they were very helpful and friendly. I would expect there is a day, perhaps an appointment and perhaps a width max and weight to the rolls.
