Sorry I haven't been on TOTV for a whlie...wasn't ignoring your last post....just didn't realize it was there!

Yeah...TV is heavily Republican...about 60% in fact....although from reading the daily paper, it feels more like 90% LOL! The right wingers are so much more "in your face" than we liberals are! Despite the political clime...it's still a WONDERFUL place to live. Beautiful, safe, clean, convenient, affordable, and there are so many fun activities. We love it here!

Sorry to lose a fellow liberal. Maybe one day, you and your wife will decide to give us a second look??

It appears the Moderator may have removed your post. I was able to read it though. I'm sorry to hear you were so turned off by the Morse Family's political agenda. It's really kicked into high gear since this is an election year. We moved here in March 2008.

Anyway...to address your concerns...yes, there are snakes in FL. But then, I think there are snakes in every state in the Union. I've had a few in my yard, all harmless garter snakes so far.

As for the sinkholes, we don't have that many and I do think you can get insurance for damage caused by them, just in case.

Regarding the politics....just do like most of us Liberals who live here....ignore them. This is a great place to live, hubby and I LOVE living here...not the politics, but the PLACE. IF you really did like it here, look around on this forum and pick the brains of others of the more Liberal persuasion...get their opinions about your concerns.
