Sorry for such a delay, but all went wrong with moving. We moved in the new
house today, but the bedroom set is not ready. I wonder if we can cancel it & buy

Congratulations on selling your house!!! You must be relieved!! Now all of the fun starts - packing and the BIG move! You will get here at the right time - perfect weather (I am told). Finally sold the house after a lot of hassle. Settlement Oct 1 at 10 am and leaving
around 7 pm to drive to TV. Will rent a villa till we find a house.

Hi Judy & Bill,
Rec'd your msg. We did not sell yet. A possible coming Sunday for the 3rd time.
I had to put my cat to sleep and it has taken my heart. I can't get pass the loss
and family is sick of it. Without children he was my everything.
He even took showers. If he heard me in there he had to get soaked also,
which is very unusual for cats. In the morning he was only Bob's cat.
I understand he hurts also. With the house for sale I feel all in. Never expected
what came at me. Open house had 17 couples & no offers.
I was disgusted. Hope it comes soon.
We had dinner 2 weeks ago with a couple we meet on TOTV from Reading.
They are coming next spring as he is a teacher 1 more year. They already
have their home in TV and rent it.
My sister-in-law just had her grand children to Hershey & loved the day.
I hope this lady buys this & we can come sooner. Love to meet for dinner,

Thanks for your reply. We are new to the TOTV and haven't made many connections!!
We traveled to TV in April and went house hunting. We saw quite a few of the new houses mostly in the Gilchrist and Pennecamp area!! I really wanted a new house, but my husband fell in love with the one preowned. It had such beautiful landscaping and was located in a quiet cul de sac. I gave in because he said he would add those "required" items from my checklist which would make the home perfect!!! We used a realtor from the Villages when shopping for a home!! I was on TV website everyday from October until April looking and watching as homes were posted and sold!!!
found a good one in May. Good luck to you!!! We hope you find something you like!

Thx for answering. We live in Buckingham/New Hope. You were lucky to sell so fast.
I hope it happens to us. We are in a fix as I found a couple on the forum selling their
Iris to build the same thing all over again to be on the golf course.
What happens is they gave us a price b-4 it goes up on July 1. Not much time for us
to sell. It is in St. James. I want it really bad. Most everybody I talk to is buying
new and it is costly for us. Sometimes we think we are not able to get to TV.
They wanted us to come see it or have someone drive by but at this time I could
not do either. My husband works for Giant Supermarkets and retires Oct 1.
We live in an adult community and I started out helping people clean their homes
and have done so for 16 yrs. Lots of work.
It is just us, no children and both of our parents are gone.
I hope you keep in touch and tell us how you moved.
