My husband and I recently hired Darryl from D & D Aluminum to enclose our lanai. He was so nice and willing to do anything we asked. We had interviewed a number of other contractors but he had come highly recommended to us. Long story short he NEVER RETURNED TO FINISH THE JOB. We noticed a few minor things once he left (unfortunately). He had told us if there was anything we wanted to change as far as the windows, etc. not to hesitate to call so we did...3 phone calls, an email and 2 text messages over a period of a month. He finally responded to one of the phone calls, told us when he would be out and never showed! He had no problem cashing our check but has not had the decency to do the finishing touches of our lanai. We are frustrated and disappointed but "it is what it is". We just want to get the word to the rest of you not to hire him! Learn from our error.
