I'm interested on knowing what the average expenses per year is to own a golf cart.
Currently I don't own one and was wondering if it's best to purchase from a local dealer or from a previous owner. Besides the battery, what other expenses are there? Thanks.

Hey Frank, is it rebuilt yet?

Frank, I think we have a problem here. I just took the cart down the road, and noticed it was slower than my old motor, I also noticed that is was dirty, couldn't see it that well, will jack it up tomorrow afternoon and get under it. Now this was to be a new rebuilt, not a used, am I right there? I also want to know if my old motor but out more, whatever its called, than this one. if that were the case, and my old is a better motor, i thought you said i could get rebuilt for the same price $150. You also never told me you would keep my old motor, i thought I was getting it back. Paul

Golf Cart Expert:
I have a 2005 electric Club Car Precendent. The power source is 4 12 volt Trojan T-1275 batteries. The batteries were installed new in December of 2011.
The problem is that the cart is slow. Top end is 17 mph. In addition going up grades slows the cart to 14-15 mph. I would like to have this cart travel at 20 mph and maintain its speed going up grades. What can be done to fix these situations? Costs? Who can help?

My club car DS (48volt) seems to be loosing power and torque. My speed has dropped by 3 or 4 mph. Torque is noticably lower (takes longer to get to speed. I checked voltages on all the batteries and they are charging up to over 54 volts. I'm thinking there must be some type of controller? This happened suddenly. I'm down until Sunday then gone until Thurs.

Thanks Frank. Our Club Car directionals no longer make the signal sound, but instead just a clicking noise. Any thoughts.

What's up with the headlights on the Yamaha's? No adjustments as I undertand it. No one in the yamaha shop can adjust them correctly. Can you assist?
