Good afternoon. I'm looking to move my Quantum router from a front bedroom to my kitchen. When Quantum did the install a while ago they used an existing phone line to make the connection. I have a phone jack in the kitchen that I think can be used. How difficult is it to make the switch?

I bought a 75 foot Cat 6 cable to run from the smart NID in the garage to my living room, but I cannot get to where the cables go up into the attic. It's a very tight space and the joists run the same direction that I would have to shimmy through. That's why I was thinking about just using the existing phone line.
