Saw on the wftv that the retirement community of Solovita, Kissimmee was able to secure vaccines for their community. It is a smaller than the villages, they sent emails to the governor stating they needed the vaccines for their 65+ residents. They had a pod tent brought in and volunteered to help wherever needed. I feel like Sumter County has not gotten it’s fair share of vaccine. Perhaps it’s time to organize and send mass emails to the governor, state reps and county council. By organizing together and sending on the same day or days perhaps our voices will be head.
