Hi Linda! Though I don't live where you do (I'm in Virginia Trace)...we are newbies and experiencing the SAME THING as you on our street...they are all much older and don't want to be bothered...some don't even say hello...its terrible I think. I am 62 and my husband 67 and we are from new york and very outgoing but there's really no one to be outgoing with here. Just wanted you to know that you are not alone. Hi, Linda just saw the notification, and trying to accept your request.;not sure if it went through. anyway, see that you're new to the villages, as we are.. we are currently snowbirds, I recently retired, and we find that our street is a bit older and neighbors don't reach out to meet others.....I thought there was a Delmar group, but posted there last year and didn't receive anything. where are you? We are on Del toro.......thinking of trying to do a driveway social meet-and-greet just to get to know our neighbors. don't know if that's anything you guys would be interested in.....let me know....we'll be down 2 weeks in October, then back to upstate New York until Christmas, when we head down til mid-April...........look forward to hearing from another newbie!
