At what point do we as a community “get it”. Is socializing worth ending up on a ventilator? That is if there is a ventilator. I don’t think we’ve hit the peak of COVID-19 here in TV. I see people sharing golf carts, I see contractors and landscapers sitting as three in the seats of their trucks, and I still know of people entertaining friends in their homes. We have been given recommendations not to do such for how many weeks now? The dr’s say #1 is social distancing. No problem right? We live in a great community in lovely homes, and for most have retired. So what’s so hard about standing down for awhile? It’s people who don’t maintain these guidelines who have made us stay home thru April. Let’s not make it May too.

Sorry I just came back from vacation. I still have the desk, if you are still interested.

Just saw your message. We are across Warnock from you on Treeline Pl. We are part-timers until next July. I'm sure we'll run across you at some point. Heard someone say at the pool last night that there is a get together this Fri. We have to go back to work unfortunately.

    Hi Jo Anne,
We are on 3622 Quietwoods Dr. Our escrow closes on July 31. We will have our cat with us so probably not the best trip but it will be worth it. My e-mail is We will be full time frogs. I can't wait. Right now life is crazy and we have one last get together at our river house for about 20 people. The it will be packing. This is our first long distance move and hopefully our last. I just found your message. Sorry about that. We are in Vernon a Hills. I don't know where Sugar Grove is, but then we have only lived here for 2 years having moved here from Colorado. Yes, this past winter was awful. This next one will be our last. I want to live where I don't need a shovel. What Village do you live in. Right now the weather is gorgeous but that doesn't make up for last winter....but it doesn't hurt. Jo Ann

Congratulations on your new home! My husband and I are also from Chicago (Sugar Grove) and this last winter did us in. We will keep our home there for a while longer but are so happy we bought a home here. We are back in The Villages for a few weeks before we head back. Most of the people we have met since we bought our villa are sun birds. I am sure you will love it here. Everyone is so nice and welcoming.
