We have a yearly contract with Patricks A/C. We contacted them last week for a tune-up and the guy came at 1:20 yesterday. By 3:30 he came in and said we need a new system and it will cost us over $4000! Not only that, he couldn't get the system back running. We spent the night and as of this message no working house A/C system. We called yesterday after he left and my wife only received an e-mail with new system cost proposals. We have a patio villa and the house was built 2010. I am posting this as a precaution and a record of what is happening. We have found an old portable a/c unit that we saved when we moved to The Villages but this doesn't quite cut it. Any thoughts?
