-I then emailed him and Sackville and told them I was done, I would live with the problem and when things open up up here I would go buy a Garmin [had one for at least 7 years and only replaced it because strap broke- Denys then sent me a very condescending email suggesting that not all of their customer understand the intricacies of working their products - I responded by more or less telling him that they were selling a product that was not market ready and asked him not to patronize me as I have been using GPS systems for golf since they were invented - also copied Kevin Sackville - and never got a response from either of them - would have been nice if they would have pretended I was the customer here - the watch has some very good features when it works properly and it is sad that I am out the $ 199 plus tax and have lost confidence in not only Golf Buddy but Villages golf department that I have spent a lot of money with the past 12 years.

I started using it and noticed I get asked between 5-25 times a round if I would like to exit the game - yes or no and if wait too long to answer - it then asks if I would like to power off. I contacted Kevin again by email and by phone 3 times before I got a snarky response saying he had everything he could for me from a vendors point a view - I just wanted to talk to someone at Golf Buddy in a technical capacity - he finally got the local rep to contact me and he got a customer service guy [Denys] to call me [this after I had unanswered left phone messages and emails to the Customer Service department there] - after trying a few things with updates [had to do them on a PC as they are not Mac friendly] - he indicated they were going to issue and return authorization [which I never got].

I bought a Golf Buddy AimW10 from Hacienda in November for $ 199 - in February it cracked - brought it back and 2 weeks later Kevin Sackville [head pro] replaced it with a new one that lasted all of 1 round before it crashed and screen went white and then died - another 10 days and Kevin replaced that and played 1 round in Florida before Covid drove us back to Canada where we could not play golf for 2 months
