Thanksgiving Suggestions

1. Take time to really think about and give thanks for all the blessings we have received and probably are taking for granted.

2. Write down and post a list of the things for which you are most grateful.

3. Write, call, visit individuals on your list and let them know that you are grateful.

4. Take time at your Thanksgiving meal to share and learn what things those dining with you are most grateful. You may be surprised to find your name on their list.

5. Check on your neighbors, colleagues, friends, associates to find out whether or not they may be dining alone on Thanksgiving. If they are, invite them to your Thanksgiving meal.

6. Review your posted list daily and thank God for his generosity.

We can use this as a reminder of how lucky we are and remember to help those less fortunate that we are. If I had been there I probably would have offered to get them a meal.
