Skyguy, what drum corp were u in? Can I assume possibly the Skyliners due to ur name?

You hit the nail on the head. My name, sky79 represents that I was with the NY Skyliners during the '78 & '79 seasons. Prior to that I was chronologically with the original Interstatesmen for a short time, the Troy NY Skyliners Jr. Corps for a season, the Syracuse Brigadiers for a season and a charter member of New Interstatesmen for about 3 years. More recently I was a charter member, board member and webmaster for Troy's Excelsior Corps for 3 years.

Did you march and if so with whom or were you just a fan?

I played bari with Sky and French Horn and Mellophone, probably the very first mellophone player in a Junior Corps. I also knew the inventor of the mellophone and am FB friends with the very first player ever of horn in a Sr. Corps.
