Winn-Dixie. We have choices in The Villages as to where to shop. We use Winn-Dixie and Publix like most people that live here. Good news .. Publix has great selection and the people are polite and cheerful there. On the other hand, W-D has a problem. We have noticed on many occasions where the W-D employees are not very pleasant. The manager at Sumter is not very friendly as we have had a number of occasions to interact with him. The manager at Pinellis needs to go back to manager school. He is very tall and my wife is short ... he made a remark one time to my wife about height differences that was not very professional. I think the attitude of employees starts from the top down. These W-D stores would be a great place for Corporate heads to do an episode of Under Cover Boss!! They obviously need to be retrained .... again, from the top down!! Just 'sayin.
