Hello - I was just looking at my usercp page and noticed we were friends. I don't remember that happening. Since I'm writing, I think you were both Army. I was Army 3 years. Went to 93H school on Tank Hill July '70. Honor graduate. Had orders for Nam but cancelled. heldover 4 weeks, finally sent to Korea. Army has 9 towers there, I was at Stanton AAF A-112 in the DMZ. We had about 60 copters that patrolled the 38 Parallel. Next Hunter AAF in Savannah. Nice duty, the base was Air Force until '66 and was right in Savannah. Trained Vietnamese pilots. ETS Dec 1972. Hired by FAA Feb '74 at St. Pete/Clearwater ATCT, that's my home, so it was nice. 3 years promoted to GS 11 transferred to Pensacola Tracon. GS 12 and later GS 13. I was one of the 12,000 fired August 1981 in the strike. Never worked in ATC again. I like to hear what it was like to be a career Army controller. I often think if I had stayed in what it would of been like. I made Spec 5 in 14 months while in Korea. John_W

Hey, sorry so late, but seldom go on here anymore, too busy being a Villager. We lived in Anniston, stationed at McClellan, and Anniston Army Depot.

    Heidi,
They are called " Pocket Gophers". They are vegetatarian. Al is working to investigate how to get rid of them. He heard vinegar water. Look them up on internet. Cute little fellers!
I will be with Al tomorrow and will see if he has anything figured out.

    Heidi,
I wish I had seen you this weekend. We too were busy with kids. Had to go to the beach (it was freezing) to Disney etc. I went over there after your email today but the main purple meter was floode with water and I could not see if it was on or not.
I thoughtso done was at you house Monday as there was a car in your drive. I thought you guys were still there?
I did notice the port a potty is in your drive instead of on the lawn where it was. Did Don need quicker access?

We may begone in Dec from 16 -27. Karen's dad is not well and even though we had not planned on it we may be going back to Indiana.
Let me know if I or Al can assist in any way

    Frank

I would be happy to assist. What I have done in the past with others that were having problems was watch the meter to assure that it was not running when irrigattion was not supposed to run. Secondly when system does run monitor how many gallons are used.
This can be extrapolated for four weeks and see if it makes sense.
This can be corrected. Did the water company check the meter flow rate for accuracy?
    70k gallons OMG!
    See you this weekend.
    Frank
