Not game of three cushion billiards totally different, but break and run game.

Ok, 3 ball. Rack three balls, break and run till you pocket all of 3 balls. Every stroke counts. So, break is one stroke, make ball on break still counts as 1 stroke. If you miss still counts as stroke. If you scratch 1 stoke penalty plus the stroke you missed or make ball but scratched and shoot out of kitchen any direction. Add up all you’re strokes. Average 4 or 5 strokes for 3 ball.

4 ball same rules, except got 4 balls racked in diamond, Average for 4 ball 5 to 6 for 4 ball.

So, you pocket balls in say 6, I pocket ball in 5. You lost that round by 1. Play till first reaches 10. So, I reach 10 and you only have 8. You won by two points.

Good game to practice breaking and running. Should be able to run 7 or more racks out of 10. Good for concentration cause every stroke counts, plus you have to consistently make long and sharp cuts.

3 ball usually harder to make ball on break. 4 ball easier and can make two 40% of the time.

Don’t look for official game of 3 or 4 ball. Wildcat game. Played for money. Which money players rarely miss.
