Default Pool games for beginners

Having trouble trying to play 8 ball? Try crazy 8 ball using only 9 balls. 4 stripes and 4 solids with 8 ball racked in middle and strip and solid on corner of diamond rack. 8 ball BCA rules apply or make up you’re own.

This game will go quicker and be less congested, plus you only have to make 5 balls. Eventually with enough practice you would be able to break and run out 7 or 8 times out of 10 racks.

I see few beginning players take along time to complete game. With crazy 8 you get more opportunities with less congestion.

Now want to step it up? Play side rails only. Which means you can only make you balls on the right or left sides of the pool table. So now you have to control cue balll some.

Think you advancing now? Play crazy 8 one pocket. Have to make all you’re balls in one corner pocket ( just like the game of one pocket) in one pocket you can hit any ball in 8 ball one pocket you have to hit you’re balls first or it’s foul. When you foul you own ball ( one pocket rules apply). Now you have to have control over the cue ball, have to bank, or rail kick balls to you’re side or in you’re pocket.

Three ways to play crazy 8 ball. Don’t look for official rules for crazy 8. It’s wildcat game. Lots of unusual and regional unsanctioned games in game of billiards.
