I live about 10 miles from "The Ralph" and am a "not-near-enough-part-time" TVer. We are coming down Oct 25th for just a couple of weeks and would love to meet you folks at Crazy Gringos! JohnN: Bills fan? Attendance is required.

I watched Mike Stratton make 'The Hit' from just a few rows above the field. What an exciting game!

OK, so don't look at the book - Who was the Bill's first 300-pound lineman? (The question today would have to be: Are there any active NFL linemen who weigh less than 300 lbs.)

Go Bills!

Default Back to the Drawing Board...

Well, Arizona sure had the right offense for the Bills. Quick passes, multiple receiver sets, etc., and the Bills only stopped them once. Without their starting quarterback, they would have had to play a perfect game on offense to keep up with the Cardinals. Not going to happen with JP.

Two weeks to get healthy and figure out how to defend that kind of offense, because every other team is going to do that to them.

I read an article about how Trent Edwards may still think the Bills are undefeated since he doesn't remember the game.

I hope the bye week helps and he comes back OK to play.
Alex, Cards did play 'em tough, I was surprised given that Anquan Boldin was out

Default Arizona Isn't a Patsy

The Bills have nothing to apologize for in their loss to Arizona. Nor does the AFC East. None of the teams, Jets, Bills, Dolphins and Patriots, are push-overs. Compare their records to other divisions, and they stack up ok.

Trent Edwards was practicing today, so he looks good to go. He didn't remember anything until on the way home from Arizona, so they have to do a better job of protecting him. That Arizona safety is one nasty guy. Their defense looked a lot different when he came back from his injury.
Dallas found that out this past weekend.

Go Bills!

There are still 3 minutes but it is Buffalo-23 and SD-14!
Strange game, they lost all power and had a delay in the beginning but this is Buffalo...best fans and cold winters.

Default Quality Win vs. a Quality Team

Trent Edwards is getting better and better.

The defense figured out what went wrong vs. Arizona and seemed to fix it.

It was great to have a home game after a bye.

Now for those all-important divisional games.

Go Bills!!!

Mylar baloons getting caught up in power lines. That's just like Orchard Park.
And I just watched the Jets lose in overtime to the Raiders. Now if the Broncos beat the Pats tomorrow, it will be a perfect weekend.
We get to go to Miami to squish the Fish next weekend.

Default Why abandon the running game?

When they used the running game at the beginning of the third quarter and got a touchdown, it looked like another strong 2nd half. Then no more running game and bunches of turn-overs. A game they shoulda, coulda won.

Looking forward to meeting the Jets and Brett next week, though.

Thumbs down Coaching?

When the announcers point out that the Bills are running when there are 8 man fronts, and passing when there is a 2-deep zone, where are the coaches? What half-hearted effort was that to toss in the red flag without getting the ref's attention to contest the call in NE's first drive when the receiver was clearly out of bounds on a 20 yard gain? In the beginning of the fourth, we get the ball on BE's 45 and get two runs for a first down, a third run for 6 yards, then a sack and then another incomplete pass. No running game in the last 3 games -- no wins.

Aaaaargh!

You're right Alex. It felt like Kay Stephenson was in charge today.
