The players union has formally asked Roger Goodell to step aside as the arbitrator in the deflate-gate case. Goodell has a conflict of interest since he will be called as a witness, according to the article.

In other news, Patriots owner Robert Kraft announced today he will not appeal the sanctions placed on the team by the NFL.
