Goodell Arbitrator Really???
What a joke. Tom Brady's appeal is going to be heard by the commissioner of the NFL.
Laughable. |

Another proof the NFL is even more of a joke.

Only joke I see is the appeal being heard by one of the owner's best friends! Wish it was being heard by a panel of NFL owners/players!

Best friends?? You really think Kraft wants anything to do with Goodell after this debacle? Besides it's in Goodell's best interest if the appeal is denied.

And here I was thinking that professional wrestling was the only "scripted entertainment" sport where the managers and owners fought it out as part of the show..

Wouldn't a diminished punishment be the best way back into Kraft's good graces?

Nothing good will come to the NFL or the Patriots by Goodell being Arbitrator. Why does this guy make 37 Million a year. Unbelievable!

I agree, having Goodell the arbitrator is a joke, and the joke is on us. This whole debacle is ridiculous. Guess you get off easier if you beat somebody up. Goodell will try to look like the good guy, reducing the penalty, when it was excessive to start with. NFL should get rid of Goodell

Since 2001, the president has earned a $400,000 annual salary, along with a $50,000 annual expense account, a $100,000 nontaxable travel account, and $19,000 for entertainment. The most recent raise in salary was approved by Congress and President Bill Clinton in 1999 and went into effect in 2001.

Goodell Arbitrator Really???

With absolutely no respect to Goodell, we all know the WH has far exceeded it's statutory limits - in jet fuel alone. Do you think their vacation expenses are within limits. I know, I'm borderline here but I thought this needed to be pointed out.

Personally I am fed up with this whole deflate-thing.
I say if Kraft and Brady don't get a compromise from the NFL, the Patriots may want to consider creating a new league. Perhaps call it the AFL (American Football League). maybe these teams would join in: http://www.remembertheafl.com/images/AllDecals.gif

I saw many Boston Patriot games when the AFL was new. They did not have a stadium of their own so they played in various Boston college football stadiums.
