CALM DOWN EVERYONE!!!
The thread was titled "Year of the Patriots", not "Week of the Patriots". Come back at the end of the season if you win something. Until then, it's just one game. At least the Pats usually win more than they lose.

It was a good game to watch....well, especially for the Bills fans. Yes, it's just one game, so no need to panic.

The Red Sox, however, are more of a concern.

The Year of the Patriots?

Few months ago, it was The Year of the Red Sox. They couldn't lose. They had the best rotation. They spent - what - 300 million on CC and AGon? They had the best lineup. They had the best closer. The had speed, they had power.

In the words of that great philosopher, Y. Berra - It Ain't Over Till It's Over.

I would never embarrass myself by using such an outrageous type size to brag.

But to express total shock and amazement...yes.

The big Yankee fan I am admitted at the beginning of the season the Bosox had a better team on paper. I never thought they had the best closer. Every fan in baseball knows who that honor goes to.

This is why they play the season.

Yeah, Yeah they do. The Bills Make Me Want To Shout, Yeah Yeah. It's hard to get out of your head. Sort a like It's a Small World after riding the ride at Disney.

I thought the year the Giants beat 'em in the Super Bowl was the year of the Patriots, undefeated and invincible?

I've no dog in this fight, but it's a bit rash to call it this early, bad mojo!

Have to agree . . . pro football is all about the last man standing, injuries are everything in football and year-in and year-out the Patriots have one of the longest list of players on IR. Already Mayo their all-pro LB is out hurt, and their two star sophomore TEs are always getting hurt, Welker is always one hit from another surgery so let the season play out and see who is standing in January. One thing is for sure, the Patriots put on one of the best shows in the game and the Kraft family has brought that terrible franchise up to become one of the most interesting ones in football.
