Glad I'm not a ref. Hard job.

There is no question that both unnecessary roughness calls in the Houston game should have been reviewed and reversed. The NFL knows it too because they didn't assess fines. These two plays very well could have changed the outcome.
I understand how the referees would have called it in real time but if the analysts figured it out within seconds, the review booth certainly should have reversed it NFL Won't Fine Texans Players After Controversial Patrick Mahomes Calls - Newsweek |

Losers always look for excuses and there were questions about calls one both sides but replays show the truth. Love how the blame never goes to bad coaching or playing.

I’m not quite sure what you are suggesting. If you are suggesting that those played should have been reviewed then you are incorrect since they are not reviewable under the current rules. If you are suggesting that they should be reviewable then that is different and I would not be surprised if the NFL is considering a rule change.

refs aid and abet the nfl marketing desires, as confirmed on line by head ref Ed Hocule during the ref strike years ago. He said the NFL wants certain outcomes for marketing the Superbowl, and the refs will help, as subtle as they can. If you watch all nfl games with a critical eye, you can figure out who the NFL wants to win. But to the ref's defense, the coaches and athletes have to show up. Just like coaches throwing games for draft picks, there are goals for outcome manipulation. |
Can there be any doubt be which team the NFL likes more for the Super Bowl? The team with the fans that threw snowballs at Santa Claus or the team that Taylor Swift likes ?

If you want to beat KC, you had better have a two touchdown lead going into the fourth quarter. They win virtually every close game, and coincidently, they "seem to get every call" when the game is close. Call it what you want, but I've seen it too many times to call it anything else. "Are you going to believe me or your lying eyes" comes to mind.
