I guess if you are going to get rid of Confederate statues because they were losers, then the same might be said about the "redskins."
Why not just give the land back to Maryland and Virginia where it came from and quit worrying about appearances? That would solve the problem with making D.C. a state and we can get rid of an embarrassing football team. If a name bothers you, then life must be miserable for you.
