I am fixing spinach, artichoke crab dip with bread, fixed with olive oil and garlic salt. We are having potato skins, veggie tray with dip and chicken wing or strips. We haven't decided on the wings or strips yet, but it will be either one. The guys will watch the game and I will watch the commercials.

Sounds yummy.

Mik, I don't care how much ice you have in Ark; I'm showing up for Super Bowl.

Macho Nacho Dip

16 oz. can of refried beans
1 pkg. taco seasoning
6 oz. avocado dip (can leave out if you want to)
16 oz. sour cream
4 and 1/2 oz. can chopped olives
2 large tomatoes, diced
1 medium onion, chopped
4 oz. can chopped green chiles
1 cup shredded Jack cheese

Mix it all up and bake at 250 degrees for 25 minutes and serve with nacho chips

You think it looks like you have made a lot until men start eating it and then it is all gone really fast.

Boomer, Macho Nacho looks wonderful. Can I leave out the chilies, I'm a non-macho whimpo!! Hate hot stuff. I'm gonna make it for my guests too. Thanks,

Mik, if you didn't have so much ice, I'd be at your house too.

Tony, I kept on topic!!

Kathie,

I never know the answer to that one, Cassie. I am one of those people who fears I will run out of food for my guests so I always have too much. But this one is never left over. I don't know what it is about it. I once saw two or three guys just stand by the buffet table and eat it, right there, until it was gone. (Can you see women doing that? -- Welllll... not when anybody is looking anyway.)

If you look at the amounts of things in the recipe, it might give you a rough idea. 16 oz. here, a cup there, it makes a lot.

After this pitch I am giving all of you, I sure hope everybody likes it.
