Google referees, fairness and Kansas City Chiefs. I do think there is some fire behind all the smoke. The other side's coaches do sometimes very loudly object to some calls.

I will probably stick with the Eagles for the NFL Yahoo Pool I am in. No money is involved. But I will probably win the pool I am in if the Eagles pull it off . I am in first place right now.

There might be a daughter in that line as the former NY Jets General Manager is the son of another big football name. Which is different than my father's and mine.

We did run into the family of the GM as they had lived very close to where we were.

I see that the father of the NY Jets General Manager worked on the coaching staff of the Philadelphia Eagles among other jobs.

Just heard on WVLG that domestic beer at SB is $17. Yikes

Course they do when they go against them. But when there in their favor all hear crickets? Close calls can go either way, why they are called calls, somebody has to make the call ☎️.

There will be a lot of celebrities there in addition to Taylor Swift.

I am already tired of the Super Bowl. I read the poll and the Chiefs will win. Can I go to bed now?

Velvet 02-09-2025 03:22 PM

Could be pretty crowded with security, first time a Super-Bowl will have the President attend in person.

It is already very crowded with security due to the attack on Bourbon Street.

Really loved the week or so in 1991 when I took Amtrak down from Minneapolis to go to the Summer law librarian convention in New Orleans. I started pushing my passion of a problem with the availability of practical materials in libraries for survivors/victims of crimes just before that meeting and soon found myself blacklisted from the profession. I angered some very powerful people. Reno hosted the Summer of 1989 law librarian convention. I went to that one which was about ten weeks after I had graduated from the U of MN Law School in May.

Looks like the Swifts aren't doing too well. Maybe a 2nd half comeback?

Velvet 02-09-2025 08:18 PM

The Eagles are on fire!

But the half time show is unfortunate. I could make out the word “tiramisu” which is my favorite dessert but couldn’t make out any of the other words. I am back to listening to my Audible book until the game starts again.

KC. First half 24 offensive yards.

Who would have thought. Wonder what the odds would have been for that.

Hope it continues in the 2nd half and Eagles go on. Personally I was so tired of the media blitz for KC, esp Kelce and well you know. Enough already.

No halftime show for us either.

And yet, the name is still in your head, might want to meditate chanting Enough Already, or chant “Let it Go” :girlneener:

Congratulations to winner. Not saying who in case someone taped the game.

Caymus 02-10-2025 05:19 AM

The Eagles Offensive Line averages 6 foot 6 and 330 lbs. Imagine that food bill:)

Ceck out the link I posted. It debunks that "fire" behind the smoke...

Security was extra tight due to someone in attendance...
