Default Sparr Building and Farm Supply-- Wildwood.

Sparr Building & Farm- Fence Supplies Livestock Equipment Horse Feed – Sparr Building and Farm Supply

Had heard about this company in 2014 when the foster care people for our Beau were taking care of him and seven dachshunds. They would buy big bags of dog food there.

I went there yesterday and found some useful stuff.

Great place to shop for hardware, outdoor supplies, etc. Very neat and clean place and fun to just walk around. They have everything and it is half the size of Lowes or Home Depot. I get my A/C filters there because my size is not always available at the big box stores. They also give vets a discount.

Sparrs is great. The Lowes in Wildwood is the worst Lowes I have ever been to. Terrible customer service. The people at Sparrs go out of their way to be helpful and they are knowledgeable about the products they sell.

I went to the Wild Bird Center at the Best Buy shopping center about 4 years ago and bought a bird feeder and a 16 pound bag of Safflower Seed. Why Safflower, squirrels and black birds don't like it.

We've added 2 additional feeders since then, and have Cardinals, Thrashers, Mocking Birds, Finches and Doves constantly in our yard. I found myself going to the Wild Bird Center weekly, they have since gone out of business.

I went to the new Lowes at Trailwinds when they opened 3 years ago last month, and they had Safflower Seed in 7 pound bags for $10, however on my next trip they were sold out and took months to restock.

This is when I walked in Sparr almost 3 years ago. They have Shafer Seed Co 25 pound bags of Safflower Seed for $30. With a veterans discount if only $27 and I've been buying about 2 bags a month for close to 3 years now. I only hope they stay in business. If you go to the Traverse Shopping Center or the new Brownwood Medical Center and Hotel, it's right across the street (SR 44), cross the light at Powell Rd.

I'm not sure but I think the Lowes on 441 likes to pride themselves on having the worst customer service.
