Default Mulberry addition

I confused why they didn't fence the hole basketball court off. Left about 4 to 6 foot pad on the south end? Unless the waiting line and benches are going to be on the outside of the fence? If not, why not utilize the hole surface?

After careful study
I assume Going to be the entry for the other court so people don't have to cross both courts.
