Default Pickle Ball Players Needed

A friend of mine and his wife are moving to TV in July of next year.

He had a stellar career as the Director of Tennis at a very nice Country Club in South Carolina. He is interested in playing Pickle Ball during his visit from Dec 26 till Jan 1.

I am sure he would pick it up very fast due to the caliber of his level of tennis.

Do you know anyone he could contact to set up a game during his visit. He will not have any equipment.

Thanks so much and have a great holiday.

Paddles and pickleballs are free to use and are in the equipment sheds in all of the rec centers with courts.

Yes, but they really suck! PM me if you want to borrow some good ones. We are of the 3.0 pickle ball variety. I was 3.5 tennis years ago. I don't know if that's a good enough level for him. But if you find higher level of player for him, we're happy to lend our paddles.

There is open play at all PB courts from 7 - 10 evey morning. The only thing to check is what level of play is at each specific complex. I know Miona is usually 4+, Saddlebrook is 3 - 4, and Mulberry has 4 courts that are 2-3 and 4 courts of 3-4. Don't know where he will be staying but do a little advance scouting by going to the courts closest to you between 7-10 am and ask the players if he may be able to fit in. Usually lessons are best but if he can pick it up quickly he can fit in somewhere. Have him Google Pickleball and review the rules so he will be up to speed on arrival.
