Coyotes can be various colors, just like their bigger cousins the timberwolves. I saw a black one once.

Foxes (except for albinos which are very rare) almost always have the same coloring as the rest of their breed.

There are grey foxes (about the same color as a coyote) and there are red foxes.

I was playing Volusia one afternoon and on the 5th hole I walked down to the bushes to the right of the cart path. A coyote jumped up and ran over towards the fence going into the trash dump. It jumped the fence without any problem and scampered off to the dump area.

LOL I prefer the elevated blind. Somewhere I can put a portable heater and a nice comfy chair. Always need a reliable ATV around because when you bag-em I certainly do not want to drag-em.
