Dermatologist/surgeon

My inquiry is specific- I had Mohs surgery done on the top of my head removing a large area of skin. I am not pleased at all with the performance of the dermatologist. I felt that the doctor was rushed, taking little time with me and that the stitching was done quickly and roughly. Six weeks later, the area still hasn't healed. I am looking for a recommendation from someone who has had skin surgery who is pleased with the ability of the doctor and with the outcome of the procedure. I hesitate to mention the doctor by name and will appreciate any replies.

Dr Tran. He did a very difficult Mohs on a family member with great success.

Dr Casper. He has done several MOHS procedures on me and they all came out okay.

I don't care for Dr. Casper, very bad time keeper and I found him somewhat indifferent.

Dr Tran

Another vote for Dr Tran of Village Dermatology in Laurel Manor. He does not rush and is very meticulous. Also, a gentleman. Good luck.

Another recommendation for Dr. Tran. Very precise in his surgery.

Dr Casper is my third dermatologist since I have come to TV. I liked the first one but he was in Ocala. The second one I will not comment on but I will say that an 8:30 appointment could end up at 10:00 and he had the worst office staff I have ever met.

I have never had a problem with Dr Casper or his staff. The appointment is always on time and he was okay with me.

Dr. Tran!!
I had a large Cancer on the top of my head that required a skin graft.
One could not expect any better results at both surgery locations.
He is very skilled at what he does and is very patient focused. As are all the staff.

Has anyone heard of or used Dr Michael Bond? Looking for comments-good or bad

NotGolfer 11-06-2014 11:30 AM

I saw Dr. Bond for something on my face. He came in with his entourage and froze it then left the room. I was told to come back in XX weeks for a re-check. I saw an assistant of his all the next times I went back. He's fine...heard both good and bad things about him. He's with Advantage Dermatology, I think the name of the practice is.

Dr. Bond is not a MOHS surgeon.
There are better patient focused dermatologists in TV!

Dr. Casper. He is FAR FROM INDIFFERENT IMHO and quite skilled at diagnostics. I opted for radiation he raspy vs MOHS for my tip of nose cancer and glad of it. No scar and he checked me halfway through my treatments.
Office staff is nice. I don't generally care for PAs to treat me and here is no different. For a cold.... Ok. For this.... Not happening.
I really like Dr. Casper as does my hubby who has a history of ocular melanoma. He is picky.
Nuf sed.. Best of luck.

Dr, Tran

I have had at least six procedures by Dr Tran and all have been totally satisfactory. He is a skilled surgeon. Good office staff and PAs also.
