Tal, where is Woodridge pond? Is it behind Publix? I'll be sure to look up in the trees as I travel around. I once found a beautiful African Gray who was extremely intelligent. His owner was contacted and I was sad to see him go.

It is close to the New Covenant United Methodist Church and a few blocks from Publix.

I've been thinking about this poor bird and all the rain we've been having. He isn't use to being out in the elements and must be miserable. Hopefully totv'er will be aware of the fact that he may be sitting up in a tree waiting to be rescued. The parrot I found saw me fumbling at my door and swooped down to a tree next to me and looked at me as if to say "I need help". I reached out and he came to me and tucked himself under my chin. My heart melted...... The parrot I found flew quite a distance so Boyd could be anywhere.

OHHHH, my heart is breaking for Boyd and his owners. When lost birds get hungry they will usually come down from the trees looking for food. I am hoping and praying that Boyd comes down and someone discovers him. Domestic kept birds are as cherished by their owners as a dog or cat. If everyone keeps their eyes and especially their ears open in that area, Boyd has a good chance of being rescued. He will probably sound much different then the wild birds in the area, similiar to a person mumbling or talking. Wishing Boyd and his owners good luck. .

Tal, If you know the owner, please tell him that the best time to look for a lost animal or bird is in the very early morning, perhaps dawn, when everything is still and quite. It's then that you can hear them should they respond to their name. Just a thought......

I do not know the owner.

good point Tal, and you probably couldnt hear him either over all the barking.
Please let us know if Boyd is rescued , Its killing me to think of him out in the big world scared to death. |
Boyd, come out, come out wherever you are!!!
Well Boyd picked a terrible week to fly away. Rain and not just showers but downpours. I'm hoping that Boyd was found by someone and is sheltered and fed.

He could have wandered quite a bit further by now.
