Golfers chatting in groups waiting to get called up is ruining our last privilege
 

Golfers chatting together waiting to get on will be the thing to eventually destroy golfing for us. Please pay attention and don't do it.

Golfers I have seen chatting are doing it from afar. They seem to be aware of social distancing requirements.

But not to take others with them.

You are correct. I assume you still drive, you've been doing it nearly daily and no one has been taking car keys or shutting down the roads.

You can hold basic communication from six feet away. He's absolutely correct on this. Makes no sense to group together before or after a round of golf. Be smart or lose the last thing we have left.

Which is why I think they should shut down all golf courses. After all it's just a privilege and not a right. And 40,000 people a year require emergency treatment due to being hit with balls or club heads. 9 due to lightning.

You are so correct, it is a privilege, these posts could be sent to John Rohan, especially the ones criticizing you instead of supporting the point you are making. Maybe he can do a quick search to see if criticizers are the worst offenders. Please keep posting constructive comments .

Doesn't matter what group activity Villagers participate in they are just clueless and self absorbed

agreed -- and I have lots of pictures to prove that they are still doing exactly what they want -- if the golf goes -- it will be their own fault -- cannot blame it on someone else
