More Boorish Behavior
 

While visiting last month, my daughter shopped at the Walmart Neighborhood Market. In consideration of others, she wore a mask. As she was leaving, a man came up to her and told her that she was wearing a mask now but would soon be wearing a Muslim headscarf. Since she is the lady I raised her to be, she ignored his idiotic comment. So sorry she had to encounter a person like that.

He should crawl back into the hole he came out of

There are people who are mentally disturbed, among us. I would not call this “boorish” but nuts.

Just shaking my head.
 

There is not rhyme or reason for some of the things that come out of peoples mouths. They are either angry, crazy, drunk, stoned, any or all of the above. When dealing with this kind of boorish behavior it is best to consider the source and just walk away.

What a rude thing to say. Your daughter showed good upbringing.

some people are just mean all their lives...

give your daughter a hug and hopefully she'll understand that this was
an isolated jerk...and maybe someone that actually does live in TV...but who knows
there are some total jerks that had the cash to buy here

If he had said that to my wife, she would have stopped, never said a word, then given him 'The Stare.'
Which, if he had one cell in his tiny brain still working, he would then do what I do when I get it.
RUN!

It’s sad she was accosted by that person in that way, however his opinion is that of many.

Welcome to Walmart!

This saddens me as well, especially in “Florida’s Friendliest Hometown”.

Unfortunately, there are people like that everywhere, even in The Villages.

Good grief!!!

Kudos to your daughter for ignoring him and moving on.

And fortunately they are so few in number they do not rate a fraction of a percent representation recognition!!

You know WalMart is not just for us privileged Villagers right? Why is it always a Villagers fault?
