I remember going to see For Your Eyes Only in 1981 at the Keystone Theater and ran into a gaggle of teenaged girls I would manage in the Summers at Idlewild Park softball diamond's concession stand. Or sometimes at the concessions at Bower's Mansion.

The man who was part of the partnership that ran these various concession eventually became the warden of the prison at Lovelock, Nevada that had held OJ Simpson.

Changed since that time. Many new expensive casinos, only about 1/2 from 1994 remain. Casinos make more of their money on entertainment/food than gambling. Since 2021, drug addict/beggars have multiplied on the strip.

Scary stuff. I have an in-law of sorts who heard the sirens when the sniper shot up the country music concert in Las Vegas. She was working in a casino on the strip.

Some people can be so evil.

Met her at LAX in 1989 when traveling. Favorite song has to be "U Got The Look" with Prince, because she definitely has "got the look"!!

I think her song of 1981 "When He Shines" is beautiful and will make most women think of their husbands. It is on youtube

Was a big fan - had all her records from the 80s - Morning Train is great, didn’t really like her sexy turn though when Prince got a hold of her in the mid 80s - My favorite song of hers is from 1989 - The Lover In Me, peaked at #2 Billboard, her last top ten hit.
