RAGE witnessed at Breakfast Sunday
 

A group of couples from our village plays golf together on Sunday and then we have breakfast together. This last Sunday we chose Katie Belles. AND by the way it is a great breakfast for a low price. None of us had alcohol, in case you might wonder.

We all paid to leave, and had been sitting together by the stage, I think there were eight of us and we walked toward the door and in so doing we walked between two tables, not slithered but walked single file. After three or four of us passed a man seated at the table with a woman, angrily jerked out a chair and blocked our little single file exodus. I pushed the chair back in and leaned over and quietly said in his ear. "That wasn't nice". and he pulled it out again almost hitting me with it and said loudly or yelled and waved his arms... I think he said. "I am trying to eat my breakfast", but others in the group said it wasn't that nice.

In my whole life this was a new experience.

So sorry this happened to you Gracie. Evidently, something is troubling this man other than eating his breakfast.

Be glad you don't have to live with someone of this nature. :smiley:

I wish I could have been there. Just imagine having to wake up next to that beast. He must not know THE VILLAGES theme song. Unhappy @ KBs? Preposterous!!

Obviously he did not who he was dealing with.........what time do we meet this Sunday?

I am so sorry he directed his anger towards you and your group, Gracie. As previously stated, I think something else must have been troubling him and you garnered the brunt of his dissatisfaction. I hope he comes to terms with whatever is bothering him. But then again, some people are perpetually unhappy for one reason or another... :confused:

Gracie I can't imagine anyone being nasty to you. And you remained so calm. I probably would have bopped him over the head with the chair. But that's me.

gracie - IF that EVER happens to you again...simply pick up the chair and take it with you! ;)

We should be able to get a few hundred volunteers from TOTV to add to the posse! :laugh:

Gracie maybe he found out that he could not afford to live in the Villages. I have never had that kind of experience in any restaurant. Not in the Villages nor anywhere else.

Gracie, look on the bright side. Katie Belles is open to the public on Sunday so maybe he was just a non-resident lacking good manners.

If I were there Gracie I would have told You to make him an offer he couldn't refuse. Gracie, leave the gun take the canolli. He should Sleep with the fishs. CAPICE !!!!!!!

Perhaps he was off his psych meds or needs them!
