I would like to install attic stairs in the garage. Does anybody have a contractor they would recommend.

Another vote for Tim. Arrived as scheduled. He and his helper was here less than 1 hour. Worked as a team and cleaned up after themselves! A very pleasant experience.

Nobody seems to be concerned about stairs effect on the fire rating of the garage ceiling. I think it's worth asking the question.

Save your money! We went to Lowe's and purchase the most expensive unit (for safety and ease of use). Got a buddy and threw it up in a couple hours. The hole is already in place. Easy job!

I just had my attic stairs installed today by Tim the Tool man. He also redid my master closet shelving adding another row of shelves and hanging space.
