Begonia or Gardenia Owners
 

For those of you who have a Begonia or Gardenia, how many bar stools do you find works best for the space…two or three or four? If you could post pictures that would be even more helpful? Thanks.

We started with 3 and added a 4th in our Begonia. We got rid of the breakfast nook and made it a home office with matching cabinets.

Four is good for us.

If you plan on using it a lot I would go with 4; however, an odd number is more appealing to the eye.

Ditto

We have 4 and went with backless stools because they tuck further in when not in use. Has worked out great.

Went with 4 initially. That's still how many I have physically, but I have to admit to at least two have "stuff" stored on them so can't really be counted as useful!

I can't seem to find bar stools that really work with our decor. I have thought about this option both to save space and to not worry about the design aspect as much.

Between wayfair.com and overstock.com you should be able to find what you want. I got mine from wayfair. Good price.

I love your nook make over to home office. I know we will never use our nook as a place to eat. Yours looks practical and it is simply beautiful! Nice job!

We have five backless stools in our Begonia. We started with six, and that was too many. I like the backless stools because they provide an unobstructed view from the kitchen out through the lanai--which is the same reason we didn't want the columns.

A good idea but...
 

Thanks Raynan for this idea. Since moving to The Villages, I have become an online shopper (which is not my preference). I have looked extensively since we closed on our house but never found anything I liked. I finally ordered four bar stools from Overstock that I loved. When they arrived, they were too large for the space and were overpowering. Alas, return to Overstock via UPS which was $133. So…that was an expensive "look-see". Again thanks to all of you for your interest, suggestions, and photos. I'm sure I'll eventually figure it out.
