Robbers caught?
 

Don't shoot the messenger but I heard that they caught the person(s) who robbed the home in Charlotte. Supposedly, it had something to do with the housekeepers daughter and a white van parked near the home. That's all I know.

That would be good news indeed.

Interesting, many have surmised it might have been done by someone who knew the inside of the homes.

(and by the way, we have been informed they are "burglers", not robbers)

But definitely good news if this is correct

Now who knows more? Come on guys, we are better than the newspaper here.

I got in late from work and logged on just to check on any status/update on the break ins….I'm sorry burglaries. I really have my fingers crossed and hope this turns out to be true. It would be fantastic news indeed!!!

Man, we would all sleep better if those robbers were behind bars.

Poor AngieFox...when she used the term, "robbers" or " robbery", Lt Hayworth made it clear that it was burglaries. I know Angie headed right to Confession after our meeting....."Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I used the term "'robbery' instead of 'burglary'!!!!"

Bottom line....I hope they catch the creeps! Lt. Hayworth will be smiling tonight!

I'm keeping my ears open. I expect they clean more than one home here in TV. I am going to talk to the source from which I heard this from.

To this point it is just a rumor........................

I heard it from my neighbor who heard it from her neighbor. She made it a
Point to email me and tell me. Isn't that how we find things out? I hope it's true.

My favorite thing is sleeping with the windows open. I guess those days are over.

I hope that's correct and they nab them, but do you really think these burglaries were all committed by the same person(s)? I don't think that's necessarily true.

There is nothing about anyone arrested in this break in reported this morning in either the Daily Sun or VillageNews.


Lady Lake police did arrest three on drug charges. Wonder if this is connected to the rumor?

Three adults and one juvenile were arrested on a host of drug charges by Lady Lake police shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday.
• 19-year-old Brittany Elizabeth Rutter of Ocala was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• 23-year-old Jaimie Rae Pyle of Summerfield was charged with possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• 25-year-old Jonathan Reid of Summerfield was charged with possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• And a juvenile female was also charged with possession of marijuana less than 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

There was another burglary in Fernandina yesterday.

Hadn't heard that. Do you have any details?

Is there somewhere we can read about this? Or is this another from a friend of a friend?

Those photos posted are not suspects in a burglary but are ones who were arrested for marijuana possession.

Those photos are people using the stolen credit card.

We have both sets posted this morning. The suspected muggers and the young people arrested for drugs.

If they get caught, they won't be behind bars. They'll be out on bail. :mad:

Angie, I wasn't pointing out you, just commenting that the tone of the thread was not trending toward pleasant. When i see a post that I think is suspect, I try real hard not to reply if my thoughts are negative...I was taught that it is better not to say anything than to say something negative...
